I made a load of this pesto and have it frozen. After defrosting I spread it on toasted thin sliced french bread, topped with a slice of tomato. I have also popped a few in my marinara sauce. Perfect way to salvage the huge amount of fresh basil I grew this year in my garden. Thank you for the recipe and freezing tip.

I'll definitely be making that this summer. Thanks. I've heard that some people don't add the parmigian until they're about to use it, because they say the cheese doesn't freeze that well. I've also heard of someone who adds some lemon juice so that it won't turn so dark in the freezer. I've never made it, so i don't know if ti works. Thanks for the video.
